Join comedians and authors SARA PASCOE (Out of Her Mind, Taskmaster, The Great British Sewing Bee, Comedians Giving Lectures, Guessable) and CARIAD LLOYD (Griefcast, Austentatious, Alan Partridge, Peep Show, QI) for a very special live edition of their Weirdos Book Club podcast as part of the London Literature Festival.

For this live show they’ll be joined by star of Succession, Killing Eve and Ted Lasso DAME HARRIET WALTER to discuss her new book She Speaks! What Shakespeare’s Women Might Have Said.

In her new collection of speeches for thirty of Shakespeare’s women one of Britain's most esteemed Shakespearean actors has re-imagined what some of his women might have been secretly thinking and lets them speak their minds.

Weirdos Book Club is a space for the lonely outsider to feel accepted and appreciated. Assisted by their comedian and writer friends they discuss a book that is special, stimulating and y’know – weird.

Previous guests have included Naomi Klein, David Nicholls, Nish Kumar, Ian Rankin, Marian Keyes, Yomi Adegoke, Annie Macmanus, Eliza Clarke, Tim Key and many more.

Harriet’s book She Speaks! What Shakespeare’s Women Might Have Said, is published by Virago and is available to pre-order here.

Cariad’s book You Are Not Alone, published by Bloomsbury, is available to buy here.

Sara’s book Weirdo, published by Faber, is available to buy here.
