We produce podcasts and audio content. We develop ideas, record and edit content, pitch to audio platforms and produce sponsor reads to briefs.

We love live comedy
We produce live comedy shows across the country, including large-scale tours, live podcasts, line-up shows and the Wells Comedy Festival in Somerset.
We promote live tours and solo runs for comics including Nish Kumar, Sara Pascoe, Tim Key, Amy Gledhill, Brett Goldstein, James Acaster, Lou Sanders, Paul Foot, Nick Helm and Jessica Fostekew.
We promote live shows of hit podcasts including Off Menu, Films to be Buried With and Nobody Panic.
We programme comedy line-ups for festivals and events, and produce live-streamed online shows.
We’ve worked with talent including Harry Hill, Dylan Moran, Sara Pascoe, Romesh Ranganathan, Nina Conti and Simon Amstell.
We’ve promoted shows in venues ranging from 60-6,000 capacity, including the Royal Albert Hall, Roundhouse and Royal Festival Hall in London, Glasgow SEC Armadillo, Manchester O2 Apollo and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall.

Our team
Ben Williams
Company Director
Ben started Plosive in December 2016. He oversees the company’s output and produces Plosive’s podcasts and live shows with Head of Producing Naomi.
Before starting Plosive Ben was Comedy Editor at Time Out London, has been on the judging panel for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards four times, has worked as a Talent Set Consultant at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, and founded the annual Wells Comedy Festival in 2015.
Naomi Parnell
Head of Producing
Naomi has worked for Plosive since 2017 and lead produces our podcasts and live shows.
Before joining Plosive Naomi worked in production across comedy, drama and factual radio and television for the BBC, Channel 4, and ITV as well as arts and music events, festivals and theatre producing.
Bróccán Tyzack-Carlin
Marketing Officer
Bróccán joined Plosive in 2024 as Marketing Officer.
As a marketer, he has worked across a range of industries including professional services, whistleblowing, higher education and the arts.
Alongside marketing, Bróccán is a performance poet, stand-up comedian, and writer. He has produced and performed shows on the literary and comedy festival circuits in the UK.
Megan McCarthy
Videographer
Megan joined Plosive in 2023 as Office and Admin Assistant and now looks after all Plosive’s video needs.
As well as working for Plosive, Megan works as an actor, as an improvisor at The Free Association and has worked as a freelance technician for Soho Theatre, Country Mile and The Free Association.
Rachel Illingworth
Live Promoter
Rachel joined Plosive in 2023 as Live Promoter, working across all live shows and events.
Before joining Plosive Rachel was Production Manager at Show And Tell, as well as previous roles in theatre producing and directing.
Aniya Das
Podcast Producer
Aniya joined Plosive in 2023 as Podcast Producer, working across our slate of podcasts and managing our studio bookings.
Before joining the team she worked on podcasts for Somethin’ Else and factual-entertainment shows for BBC Radio 4, as well as producing her own music and podcasts.
Toast
Office Dogsbody
Toast joined Plosive in January 2022. He greets guests, sits in on meetings and sniffs out new opportunities for the company.
